AUDI S4 TUNING
The latest B8 S4 utilises a smaller displacement3.0-litre TFSI V6 engine, but now with the addition of forced inductionvia an Eaton mechanical supercharger.
At GCAP we have designed a package to further refine the Audi's character with a few simple modifications.
We use an AWE exhaust system on our tuning packages for this vehicle.
As exhaust gases exit the 3.0TFSI engine and flow into an AWE Tuning 180 Technology™ equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports and into reflection chambers. Sound waves, carried by these exhaust gasses, bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. By controlling the size and location of the ports and the chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves re-join the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies.
We have developed our own software to increase the cars performance. This comes in two forms. A stage 1 map (I.E. a software only calibration with no hardware changes) and a stage 2 (with our Armytrix exhaust system).
When tuning we measure afr, ignition timing, intake temps, EGTs etc. to ensure our tune is as safe and reliable as possible whilst drawing the most out of your supercar.
We have seen gains up to 400bhp 390lbft.
As with most Audi, the brake system is excellent. However we can offer modified braided brakes lines. Our lines have a stronger wall density delivering a more precise and accurate brake pedal feel. This translates into more confidence in your supercar.
