LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO TUNING
The first generation Gallardo was powered with an even firing 4,993 cc (5.0 L) 90 degree V10 engine generating a maximum power output of 500 PS (368 kW; 493 hp).
The Gallardo offers two choices of transmissions, a conventional (H-Box) six-speed manual transmission, and a more advanced six-speed electro-hydraulically controlled semi-automatic electrohydraulic manual transmission, which Lamborghini abbreviates to "E-gear".
The "E-gear" allows the driver to make shifts much faster than they could with a manual transmission. The driver shifts up and down via paddles behind the steering wheel, but can also change to an automatic mode
We use an Akrapovič exhaust system on our tuning packages for this vehicle.
The precision-engineered titanium alloy Slip-On performance exhaust system reduces the weight of this supercar and improves handling. We’ve extracted additional power through improved gas-flow dynamics and a drop in back pressure. To complement our muffler design, we’ve added our well-known cast titanium dual-mode exhaust valves to create a virtual symphony from the large displacement V10. If no optional Akrapovic sound kit for adjustable sound is used, at lower engine speeds and during cruise operation the valves are closed and produce a deeper and sharper exhaust note. At wide-open throttle the valves open, releasing the full fury of the engine. The driver can control the sound with the Akrapovic sound kit. Complete the look with a set of four exquisite tailpipes in carbon fibre.
We have developed our own software to increase the cars performance. This comes in two forms. A stage 1 map (I.E. a software only calibration with no hardware changes) and a stage 2 (with our Akrapovic exhaust system).
When tuning we measure afr, ignition timing, intake temps, EGTs etc. to ensure our tune is as safe and reliable as possible whilst drawing the most out of your supercar.
We have seen gains up to 600bhp.
As with most Lamborghinis, the brake system is excellent. However we can offer modified braided brakes lines. Our lines have a stronger wall density delivering a more precise and accurate brake pedal feel. This translates into more confidence in your supercar.
