LAMBORGHINI MURCIELAGO TUNING
The first generation cars were known simply as Murciélago, sometimes Murciélago VT.
The 6,192 cc naturally aspirated V12 engine installed in the first generation cars generated a maximum power output of 580 PS (572 hp; 427 kW) at 7,500 rpm and 650 N⋅m (479 lb⋅ft) of torque at 5,400 rpm, accelerating the car from a stand still to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph). Subsequent versions incorporated an alphanumeric designation to the name Murciélago, which indicated their engine orientation and output
At GCAP we have designed a package to further refine the Italian supercars character with a few simple modifications.
We use a Capristo exhaust system on our tuning packages for this vehicle.
The Capristo Sports Exhaust for the Lamborghini LP640 and LP670 is a complete system from the engine back to the tailpipe. It comprises the following: a set of ultra high quality backpressure optimised headers, two 200 cell tri-metal matrix sport catalysts with link pipes to the rear silencer, a high flow rear muffler with integrated valve operation, a remote control kit with vacuum system, and an integrated enlarged ceramic end-tip.
The end result is that the car is much loader on start up, idle and low rpm, and at high revs it creates a quite ferocious, F1-style scream which is truly wild.
A Remote Control system is also available for the Capristo which allows the driver total control over sound delivery, meaning you can have whatever sound you want, whenever you choose (e.g. quiet for early morning starts) and race car style madness when you're not so constrained.
Made from double-skinned T309 grade stainless steel and weighing roughly 1/3 of the weight of the original system; the massively reduced backpressure creates an amazing different in performance and bhp.
We have developed our own software to increase the cars performance. This comes in two forms. A stage 1 map (I.E. a software only calibration with no hardware changes) and a stage 2 (with our Capristo exhaust system).
When tuning we measure afr, ignition timing, intake temps, EGTs etc. to ensure our tune is as safe and reliable as possible whilst drawing the most out of your supercar.
We have seen gains up to 670bhp.
As with most Lamborghinis, the brake system is excellent. However we can offer modified braided brakes lines. Our lines have a stronger wall density delivering a more precise and accurate brake pedal feel. This translates into more confidence in your supercar.
