The A 45 AMG is a performance version of the A-Class, fitted with a 2-litre four-cylinder turbo engine rated 381 PS (280 kW; 376 hp)@6000rpm and 475 N⋅m (350 lbf⋅ft)@2250-5000rpm, AMG Speedshift DCT 7-speed sports transmission with Momentary M mode, 4MATIC all-wheel drive, 3-stage ESP with ESP Curve Dynamic Assist and "ESP Sport Handling" mode.

At GCAP we have designed a package to further refine the German Sports car's  character with a few simple modifications.


We use an Armytrix exhaust system on our tuning packages for this vehicle.


The Armytrix exhaust comes with a valvetronic system. The Valvetronic system allows you to switch between being quiet and being loud with the push of a button via the included remote or through the smartphone application; this works by tapping into a vacuum source on your engine and connecting it to the control module. When you press the button on the remote or smartphone application, you are communicating with the OBDII module via Bluetooth. This OBDII module tells the exhaust valve module to allow the engine vacuum to open or close the exhaust valve. You can also set the exhaust valve module to an automatic mode which will open/close the exhaust valve based on predetermined RPM range or throttle position.

Aside from getting a brutal sound with the Valvetronic system open, you can also gain power, especially if your car is turbocharged. Depending on the car, modifications, and tune you have, the valve being open will also the exhaust gas to flow more freely, as it does not have to pass through any muffler. If your vehicle is turbocharged, you may see a slight increase in boost pressure depending if you are running an open or closed boost cycle, resulting in more horsepower.


We use an Airtec front mounted intercooler to help cool the charged air. This cooler has a super efficient core that allows the air to be cooled before entering the engine. This allows for more horsepower to be released.

Hybrid Turbo

We are proud to introduce the latest in our line of A45 turbocharger products the “A45 GTX Stage 4” turbocharger. This is a new A45 turbocharger from the ground up, using 100% new parts throughout. Using the latest Garret GTX technology, this turbo spools faster than anything else on the market, rivaling the spool of stock A45 turbochargers, and comes with massive power potential. If the ultimate drive-ability is what you are after, without sacrificing top end power. The “A45 GTX Stage 4” is the upgrade for you!

Some of the ground breaking features are a fully new turbocharger from the compressor housing to the bearing housing to the turbine housing, we had them engineered to fit in the stock A45 location, but provide the full flow of a much larger turbo. Every part on these turbos were designed around our specific goals for power, flow, and reliability. What we ended up with is a turbocharger, that can utilise the stock location while providing enough flow for 500WHP. To do this we increase the area inside not only the manifolds, but also the turbine, and compressor housings, we also slightly increase AR ratio on the turbine housing to free up even more flow, while not giving up anything in spool.

Instead of upgrading the inferior journal bearing design, we have done away with it completely and used the Garrett Dual ceramic bearing cartridge.


As with most AMG Mercedes, the brake system is excellent. However we can offer modified braided brakes lines. Our lines have a stronger wall density delivering a more precise and accurate brake pedal feel. This translates into more confidence in your supercar.
